Intent Launcher v11 is out!
Yep, Nef updated Intent Launcher. There’s two changes: one’s quite small and one could potentially be big.
Before I begin, a quick thanks to Internal for telling me what’s new in the update so I can share it now.
The first change is pretty small, but it’s really cool. You can now change the accent colour (british spelling btw, if you don’t like it cope) of the launcher, meaning you can change the colour scheme. I personally only changed it to a very slightly more vibrant green. I really like this feature, it’s a small thing but it’s still really cool. One flaw it has currently though is that you need to change the colour with a slider, which is really finicky and overall quite a pain to use. If Nef sees this, I would like it to be changed so that you can use a regular colour palette. (You know, those circular things with 16 million different, unique colours because they use the Hex code system thingy. Speaking of which, if this would be incorporated it would be cool if we could also paste in a Hex code we determined outside the launcher.)
The second change seems to be more of a rework. Apparently, Nef has added a new HWID system that doesn’t cause random rejections. I personally haven’t experienced anything like this, but some people might have, and it’s nice that this shouldn’t happen anymore.
However, as I said at the beginning, I said that the second change could potentially be quite big. This doesn’t seem… quite big. Well, according to Internal, Nef has mentioned he is planning on adding a way that you can use 2 seperate HWIDs (AKA 2 seperate devices) whitelisted for a single client. This is actually insanely cool to me. It means we can all continue decemating servers when we’re away from home using a laptop or something. I’m really excited to see this come in the future!
Once again, thanks to Internal for providing me with the information for this post, and thank you guys for reading! See you 🙂
